Dear Wine Lover
Welcome to the first edition of our trust newsletter. By now many
of you will have sampled our trust vintage 2004 and, we hope, enjoyed
it as much as we have enjoyed making it.
Thank you to all those who have supported us by purchasing cases
of our first release, trust 2004.
Phew! What a vintage 2007 was with drought, frost, the hungry roos,
wallabies and emus combined with the earliest vintage on record made it truly
memorable. However we survived, a little fatigued and strung out,
but all-in-all the wine from vintage 2007 looks great (more than
we can say about Don!).
It’s finally here - trust 2005
A year on from our first release
of trust, it’s time to welcome
the arrival of the next edition to our family. Unlike 2004, which
leapt out of the barrel ready to bottle, the 2005 vintage has required
more fine-tuning on the blending bench to produce this exciting wine.
trust 2005 has all the vibrancy and aromatics of the ‘04 vintage
with a little firmer structure to house the concentrated fruit flavours
on the palate. The detailed 2005 tasting note can be found on our
new website at www.trustwines.com.au.
Only 600 cases were produced in 2005. Our friends in the US have
already snaffled a couple of pallets in their first order and we
have interest from a number of UK wine merchants. |

Don gets stuck into plunging the 2007 trust. Each vineyard parcel is
plunged, fermented and barrel matured separately. |
